Loading before the flash movie plays????

Does anyone know how to get my flash .swf to load the entire movie before it starts playing? and how to get it to give a loading status bar?

If someone could email me a sample flash .fla file so I could look at it, I would really appreciate it. And/or provide detailed instructions.

hello!

the least you could do is create a preloader and use the if framesloaded condition. if you'll also look in the FAQ section of this forum, find davdesign's Advanced Preloader. It has instructions and fairly easy to integrate with an existing flash movie.
