Hi ,

I have received a database dump on a tape with no details, I have copied it to the server and have 3 files. 1 2meg, 1 meg, and > 3GB . I guess these are trans log, header and database....when I try to which when I try to load any of the dumps I get the message :

Backup Server session id is: 75. Use this value when executing the 'sp_volchanged' system stored procedure after fulfilling any volume change request from the Backup Server.

When I exec the sp_volchanged sp with this parameter nothing happens...

My problem is I do not have any details and cannot get any details as to the contents of this database dump. I was hoping that I could create a large dB and just load the thing and check it out from there..

Any suggestions, assistance greatly received.

Thanks,

Flem.
