Loading Addresses from Database

Good Morning,

I've been asked to look into something for our marketing team and have no idea where to start. We have a database full of customer details including email addresses and would like to send out a mass mailing to all customers using the addresses in the database.

We are using Groupwise 5.5 and the 5.5 client and I was hoping to find out if there are any methods for importing large numbers of addresses into GW? The database is access 97 although I could always export the data into a comma sperated text file or something. Had a look but cannot not see and address import options within GW.

Any and all help appreciated.

From within the Address Book window go to File/Import...
Default is to look for .NAB files. Here's the URL for info on .NAB file record layouts that you can produce using whatever tools you're used to:
