hi ya all.
well, i need to load a movie, let's call it mov1.swf.
the thing is that i need to start that movie from a different frame.
when i use the loadmovie statement it loads that movie from the begining, can i load a movie which will start from a different frame, or a scene?

Sorry! Misread your question!
Thought you were trying to control a movie's position through javascript.

As for a possible right answer... You don't give us enough info!
Are you loading this movie with a button in the main movie, or with a frame action?
Is your main movie a 1 frame style movie?
Do you have access to the .fla of the to be loaded movie?
Does this to be loaded movie have a preloader?
Will you allways want to start that to be loaded movie from that frame, or in some cases, would you want it to play from the start?

thanks for your reply, mate.
let's say that the action is in a button.
the movie to be loaded is not a 1 frame movie, and has 3 scenes in it. i need to load it and play it from frame 300 in scene 2.
i have access to the fla (why?!). the movie to be loaded does not have a preloader.
hope this info is enough.

thanks again
regards
