Loading a combo box using ADBC sql

Hi;
I'm looking for some code to show how to load a combo box with department codes defined on our server. I would like to show the following if possible.

PE Physical Education Department
Sci Science
Mth Math Department
(these items are defined in a data table called DeptCodesTable)
