loaded movie not showing up

I have a movie clip that's being loaded from frame 1, but when it's fully loaded, it doesn't show up in the scene. Has this happened to anyone else before? I have another movie clip, exactly the same, different content, but it works fine. For some reason, when you click the button to return to the movie, it'll show up correctly. It only will not show up the first time it's loaded.

and click on "figure". The "figure" section should work the same as the portrait advertisement section on my "home" page.

Don't see what you're saying! Figure works fine for me, as the portrait thing! What's not showing from your side?

Ok, clear your browser cache, and then go back to

Click on the animating portraits/caricatures ad on the home page. Notice how the larger pictures on the right show up as soon as it loads.

Now click on figure, and notice how this time, the larger pictures do not load up, until you click on a thumbnail.

Both areas are scripted exactly the same.

The thing is, on the figure section, the glitch occurs only when you first load it, but if you click elsewhere and come back, the larger pictures will load up correctly.

I just don't understand why it does that.

Yep! Now see what you're saying! But if you're sure the coding is exactly the same (even the preloader?), I don't understand why it does that also. Sorry!
One thing you could try is either call the portrait bit from the figure button and/or the reverse, to see if the same phenomenon would occur!

Yep, the coding is exactly the same. I fixed it by loading them into different levels. The portraits section are all loaded into the same level and still works, I just don't know why the figure section's a bit of a hassle. Oh well, it works now.
