load xml, image doesn't show

In reference to the following thread thread818-807452 I am having the same issue. I successfully loaded xml content into placeholders in my inDesign except for the images. I see the path in the structure and the path is correct but no image shows in the placeholder.

Is there anything wrong in the syntax of the xml? What else might cause the problem? Thanks for your help.

let me add one more thing:
I noticed that when I place the same image in indesign it displays it in the structure as an href attribute with an absolute path to it.
