We have a single router using 2 T1's to our ISP terminating in 2 different routers there. I would like to use BGP, using the maximum paths command to do load sharing inbound and outbound. My ISP tells me I can not do this as configured, sure outbound traffic would load balance at 50/50, but inbound would not. They say we would have to re-home our circuits to terminate in a single remote router.

IS this true and why? Is there another way to achieve this than re-homing our circuits?
