Hello everyone
I have a question that perhaps someone could answer. Is it possible to load/run windows in system ram? I would like to boot the pc, have a windows image load from CD or usb thumbdrive, and then place all of windows into system ram. Can this be done? Thanks

I suppose you could investigate 'RAMdisk' although it might be worth waiting. Manufacturers are just putting the finishing touches on Solid-State hard drives and should be out early next year. Only downside is the SATA2 interface.

Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

Be careful with Ramdisk - sometimes it disables "System Restore".

Have you seen BartPE?

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

thanks guys i made a bart pe disk and it worked ok. just not quite what i was looking for. i would like the entire windows xp to be run in system ram. so you don't need a hard disk. perhaps some sort of windows xp live cd.
