I have not used Novell in 10 years and seemed to have forgotten a lot of the base os. I need to assign an ip to a nic and i used to be able to edit it from the console using a load module and can't seem to remember what it was. the server is running 4.11 (which is new to me altogether) anybody know??

thanks in advance...

You could load "Install" and edit but easier yet load "Inetcfg" and follow the prompts. It, Internetworking Configuration, is much better laid out and it pretty easy to go through. The context sensitive help is clear & easy to follow. Let us know if you have other questions while there.

Cheers,

Mark ;-)

much appreciated Mark....

Have a good one.
Devin.
