I know of the feature to preload images to ensure their presence when need as mouseover etc. but is there anyway you can tell the browser(s) to load certain images last. I am loading a ton of thumbnails in a scrolling layer on a page, where i would prefer the page to load first and then the thumbnails, -most of which you can't see until you scroll the layer anyway.???

Thank you thank you : )

one thing you could do is to have all of your thumbnails be transparent, and then use the javascript "onLoad" method to change the identity of the images to the thumbnails you want. The onLoad method is only called AFTER the page is fully loaded- this should give you what you want, but you'd probably want to pursue this further in the JavaScript forum. Liam Morley
