Hi,
We are using Citrix metaframe (XPS 1.0, SP3). We have another W2K server which is having the application and the database Pervasive SQL 2000. This application is vendor supplied and developed on MF Cobol with Btrieve technology.
All users are connected through citrix.
Reccently we have upgrade from NT to W2K and since then we are getting the "Load error 198" problem intermittangly.
While the users are working suddenly they will get the message
load error: file '<file-name>' error code: 198, pc=0, call=5,seg=0.
The file name is not constant and will differ each time.
When this happens there is no option but to reboot the application server. After the reboot the application will work normally for a period of 12-24 hours. After that this problem comes again.
Recently we observed that when this problem occurs, instead of rebooting , if the users logout from application and citrix and login again it works fine.
The vendor is unable to provide any solution to this. We have verified the network settings and it is fine.
Could anyone show me the way forward???
Thanks in advance
