Hi...

I have two AS/400's; one has 5722WDS Tools - Application Development (etc) for programming (270); the other does not. Part of the reason was economic. The one that doesn't is a Domino server. It's a 520 that replaced a 170 that had 5722WDS. I wouldn't be doing a lot of RPG but I did some menus and CL on the 170 that went to the 520 during the upgrade; but I don't have a way to make changes or create anything new. It's my understanding I can program on the 270 and load them on to the 520. I've had vendors do this; they'd make some program changes and I'd load the updates on my 270. But I've not done this before...is there a resource where I can get info on this?

Thanks

If all the objects are in one library, save them (SAVLIB) to a save file. Create a save file on the target system with the same name and in the same library. FTP the save file in binary. Restore the objects from the save file (RSTLIB).

I'm assuming the target is at the same or higher release level than the source.

Feles mala! Cur cista non uteris? Stramentum novum in ea posui!

Thanks for your help; yes; the target is 5.3; the source 5.2 but will be at 5.3 sometime this summer. Thanks again
