Can someone tell me how to achieve Loadbalancing and Failover on two Solaris 9 servers?

Load balancing & failover; both are two different issues.
For load balancing; what kind of load you're trying to balamce. If it's a web service, you can use Resonate.

For failover, you can use Veritas cluster server.
