Dear ALL,

Can anybody have the knowledge on load balancer features in a livelink system, then probably someone can help?

When any one of the livelink instance is down, LB could not
detect the failed instance and continued to send requests to the failed instance, thus user see 'Server is down' error message. What would be the main cause of this issue?

How to get rid of this situation?

Cheers
SRV

You load balancer should have the option to request a keep alive page from the server, I'd recommend you set this to something like the About page of the Enterprise Workspace, if this page does not return the expected result then discount the server as being available in the LB.

you will need to speak to the person that controls your Load Balancer and then give them a Livelink URL to test. The actual config depends on your Load Balancer model and supplier you have.
