Here's the issue. We currently have to NT domains in our environment. One Domain is a Standalone NT domain and the other has NDS for NT installed. Both domains are located across router boundaries. The problem we have is the following: With the NT workstation, when we try to access the Domain, we can not get to it. The IP address and the name of the NT servers resides on the DNS server. The solution we had to implement but want to get rid of is the use of an LMHOST file. Both Novell and Microsoft have very little useful information on a workaround. Our environment consists of Cisco 6509 Switches/Vlans and of course routing takes place between the vlans. A Novell support engineer has stated the the LMHOST file is required for going across router boundaries, but I can not verify this. If anyone has information on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Especially if it is just a modification I need to make to the A Record on the DNS Server.

Thanks in advance
Mark C.
