I have been trying to update my secutiry of a network, and the easiest way I have read is to use NTLMv2 and NTLM this is done. I want to get rid of the LM Hash, I have inserted the registry key NoLMHash, but the sams database is retaining it the hash. I have changed the password to remove the hash as instructed in the Microsoft article Q299656. Has anyone got this to work? Thank you for your help.
