Hi,

Anyone heard of this before. When LL explorer is installed, MS Applications are functioning slowly.(i.e. Saving, closing, switching between docs are slow). If I remove LL Explorer from my machine, MS applications are working OK. Any idea?

Regards,
Bala

Just like any client server architecture the LLExplorer is a fat client talking to a livelink server. While it is not an extreme hog a decent client machine about 1 GB of ram should be able to work with the LLexp client.Things on the llexplorer side unless you want them constantly running is the synchronizer process.I turn this down as I have no use for it.Check the knowledge base for a few tips on how efficiently llexplorer runs.BTW Does your LES server have sufficient threads to handle a lot of llexplorer traffic as typical things with lapi is to add a bunch of files etc.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

Hi Appnair,

Thanks for the response. This is particular to only one PC, not for everyone. I'll check out the configuration details of that PC.
