Our HP printer is not printing. When print jobs come into the queue, it shows about 46 kb going to the printer, but the printer never starts. After about a minute or so, the queue says "error printing". I've troubleshooted the printer, turned it off and on, and checked everything. The last time I turned it on, it read error 50.1 Fuser Error. I work at a unversity, and our "tech" (student) came in and said it was a bad power supply. I was just curious if this is the correct diagnosis, or is it something else? Your feedback/help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chibi

If a reseat or replacement of the fuser doesn`t help, then it is probably the low voltage power supply that has to be exchanged.

The errors on the control panel and the Event Log codes may not be the same. For example, 13.11 on the control panel may be 13.11 1B in the Event Log. The 1B provides more information about the error.
Likewise, if a 50.1 FUSER ERROR is displayed on the Control Panel, the Event Log will record a 50.02.01 error, with the 02 signifying that 2 sensors were blocked. So you need to check the event log to see the actual reported fault, before launching on to a repair solution
