Weve been having a strange problem occuring since the Vista supported version of Norton 2007 came out. The XP version of 07 worked fine but the XP/Vista copies have this same problem with our proxy server for the liveupdate.
What happens is the software installs and works fine, however when we run a liveupdate after a fresh install onto any workstation, it comes up with the error saying theres not enough disk space to install the updates. Obviously thats wrong as there can be a ton of free disk space. Ive also changed the amount of cache memory available to liveupdate and this makes no difference.
However, with the same workstations, if we run liveupdate outside our proxy server, it runs fine.
Our proxy server is Novell BorderManager 3.8 and have also downloaded the very latest version of the liveupdate software.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
