The Livelink records management results in appearance of the "Records Detail" tab for all items in Livelink. I would like to know how to fetch the fields (like record date,RM classification) present in this tab programmatically. If its stored in database, which tables should be queried for the same?

I would appreciate any pointers in this direction.

Thanks,
Reshmi

While the info is in the tables, which you can access it freely by signing a NDA with OT,usually programmers can get that data by using
the old RM LAPI/API or the new modern RM Webservices.
The schema is the intellectual property of OT hence I will not post the relevant tables( a lot of them to list)
but sometimes other posters do here so you may have luck.As such if you have a playing livelink you could deduce
much of this info by running simple tests. Also the livelink knowledgebase and its discussion forums like livereports
and RM discussions have many many dozens of useful queries etc.If you have a KB account then you can cut short your reseearch
a lot by diving into that treasure trove.

Thanks appnair. That was helpful. I did come across relevant tables for RM but still unable to figure where exactly is the record date attribute of each item stored.
Also i am not mch aware of the KB account which you have mentioned. Kindly throw some more light on the same.

only people with an active maintenance contract with OT for the concerned product
will get a KB account it is knowledge at opentext.com you usually ask a colleague
in your firm with a KB account to start one for you
Recorddate in RM are strings that is the clue you have to use a string to date conversion to get that
Only by obtaining the schema will make you get closer
Sometimes recorddate is equated to object date which is actually a date. RM has really no true
universal rules. It can be highly customized/configured to meet the customer demands.
That is why OT gives you the schema so you can report on them

BTW if you have search running and working many of the fields are part of metadata
