Livelink explorer problem

We use livelink 9.5.0 with april patch and the last livelink explorer professional (but we tried different ones). We authenticate users via NTLM and there is no problem with web access to livelink.
The problem is when a user try to access via Livelink explorer: the NTLM authentication can't retrieve password.
Can anyone help us? Nobody experienced the same problem?

When you go into setup the client on Livelink Explorer are you prompted with an ID & Password screen when establishing a new connection ? What version of directory services are you using ?
