Dear All,
I'm currently in the process of gathering ideas, requirements and the like for a book - or more if possible - on Livelink. Therefore I'd love to hear what kind of topics you would like to see / not see in it etc. see for more details.

Hi,
IMHO there are at least 2 books :
* one for users and/or admin
- performance (nb of threads, multiple instance, tuning
- monitoring
- permissions (groups)
maybe with some high level KM recommendation. e.g how to structure information, groups, what is a taxonomy ?

* one for developpers
- how to customize the interface
...

and a lot more of course

ggriffit,

Excellent idea. Can I suggest the area that has given us a lot of grief and that is the databases. We often don't know when or how to monitor the health of the Livelink databases/indexes. We have been caught on extent issues on multiple times, our DBA are not familiar on what may be special to Livelink. It would be nice to have an article on how to fine tune, performance and health checks. Another issue is on Livelink indexes, how to port from one system to another, what are the special concerns for migrating to a new release - things like that.
Cheers
