Livelink 9.5 sp1 on solaris system. 1

We have livelink 9.5 SP1 on Solaris 8 system in production environment.
I need to setup development environment, let me know if it is possible to have such setup in single server, for development we need builder and other applications which will run on the windows platform and I need to test my application on solaris environment.

Let me know the other possibilities, guys working on such environment must have some inputs.

Follow the article in OT for configuring a test system from a prod snap shot with( special emphasis on having a separate file store and making sure that you do not accidentally delete the production indices)
Then once verything is ok install builder on the test box .
I tend to forget but all I think you have to do is in your module you will rename the .oll file to no extension and then run a dos2Unix on the ini files.I think all that is accomplishing is putting a CR/LF to CR or the other way round.Beleive me I have done this before and it is not as complicated as it sounds.Check the KB to see if they have a baest practices document somewhere.
