Live Update requests updating Virus Def...over and over

We're using system works 2006 and one of my users receives a notice to run live update. We do, and it will sometimes update everything listed, but most times the virus definitions do not.

Then the whole cycle starts over. Live Update indicated the virus definitions are out of date, we "update" and the definitions do not update....over and over.....

Any ideas?
