Live Update open AOL

All of a sudden Norton opens AOL on my computer to update. I have broadband and connect to AOL through it to check e-mail, but LiveUpdate should not go through AOL to update because of the broadband connection. How do I stop this? I have changed my internet settings already to no avail.
Please help.
