Live Update Issues

I've had Norton 2003 Internet Security for 3 months. Lately my live update won't work.. It give me this message when i click on it..

Initializing...
Connecting to liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com...
Unable to connect to host
LiveUpdate could not connect to your Internet Service Provider. Verify your dial-up information is correct.
LiveUpdate session is complete.

It tries to dial a #, but I have cable? Well since I couldn't figure out how to fix, I uninstalled/reinstalled.. but it didn't help the problem.. Now I get this annoying update message telling me I need to run live update.

Nothing on the Symantec site has helped..

Any help would be most appreciated

How do you have Live Update configured? It sounds like it's set to use dial up. It should be set to use your IE settings.

When it stopped working, had you made any changes to your internet setup or other configuration change? =============
