I'm working on a geographical file I exported from ArcView with lots of live text. This text is on a single layer at the top. While editing the live text a short time ago the grand majority of text disapeared. The paths remain, they can be selected, and I can even copy and paste the text onto another medium but I just can't get it to show up. I've tried exporting the file as a .tif and the text remains unseen. I've also tried opening the file on a PC, no dice. I'm using the CS1 version on with OSX Panther . Any help would be super apriciated. Thanks.

Sounds like your text has no color assigned to it. Try coloring you text.

I guess that could be possible, but the even if I select the entire layer and assign a color the only change happens to the few path that have not disapeared. If you're right, then it must not be able to select the other paths for some reason. Damn this is killing me :(
