A followup to the earlier post regarding sharing of live Excel data via a browser: BadBlue just introduced a business-oriented peer-to-peer package in which each PC gets its own tiny, search-enabled web server.

The new version (introduced yesterday) serves live Word documents over the web (screen shot: ). The previous version served Excel data in a similar manner. Seems like a lot of potential uses for accessing Office data over the web - especially when you only need a browser and not the actual Word or Excel application.

You know, ame12, I've only ever seen this and one other, very similar, post from you and it smacks very much of advertising to me. I, for one, would appreciate if you didn't advertise in the forums. If you've got a question to ask or an answer to give, I'm happy to see you here. But if I want to see advertisements, I'll click on one that supports this site.
