Live Router having issues. I need advice if i should upgrade. =)

This router seems to top out with a CPU usage of 80% at around 30 Mb of VoIP traffic at which point the voice quality seems to deterioriate rapidly even though we have temporarily fitted an NPE G1 CPU and 1gb of memory. We have had a couple of people looking into the problem and one suggestion is that we hould in fact be using a 7500 series router and I would appreciate your advice as to whether tis would be an improvement. Our setup is that we have a 100Mb WAN connection from our service provider and and 4 subnets on the LAN side ( 4 x 32 IP addresses ), the current 7206 does nothing more that route traffic from WAN to LAN and vice versa and from subnet to subnet. A sample config of the 7206 is attached. If you think a 7500 would be an improvement could supply pricing for this router with 2 x FE interfaces please.

You don't need to go to a 7500. That would not be an upgrade. I believe you're just trying to push too much data through that old NPE. If you need more horsepower then just upgrade to an NPE-G1 or something. Heck, even an NPE-400 would be a minor improvement.
 
This has got to be the longest single post in Tek-Tips history! Just wanted to say that...the man is very thorough.

Also if you are running voice thru that link you need to setup QOS to give voice priority over data on the link . On a lightly used box you might get away without using qos for voice but when you are pushing that much data you need it .
