live network w/ a 2600

I have a cisco 2611 running IOS 12.0 and I would like to know how to create a live network by connecting it to my cox cable modem. I already setup the cox domain name on my router but I still cannot ping cox's DNS server. Deos anybody out there have a solution to my problem.

You'll need to specif, at a minimum, the following commands on the router:

ip domain-lookup
ip name-server a.b.c.d

where a.b.c.d is your ISP's name server address
