Hi every body,
I have a little question that wouldn't be too difficult to answer for the "AIX MASTERS" that are here ;o)

How could i list the content of a .bff file?

Thanks by advance for your answers.

startup smit
go to Software Installation and Maintenance>Install and Update Software>Install and Update from ALL Available Software

INPUT device / directory for software > directory that holds the .bff file (make sure no .toc files exist there)

select F4 on the "SOFTWARE to install" line and a list should appear in the lower box

Alex

Code:
smit list_media_sw

This will do a listing without risking accidental installation. Same caveat concerning the removal of .toc files from the directory holding the bff.
