hi, i stumbled onto this forum looking for help with an access db im working on. my problem is that im mail merging my access query and in the query there are calculations that are performed, the one that is giving me problems is my totalbalance field. what happened is on my merged document in word, the dollar amount of the total balance appears as: $100.0000 with 4 leading decimal places instead of 2, (maybe someone can find a solution to that), what i did was i used the formatcurrency() expression in the query. when i use the formatcurrency() expression tho, i can't merge it with my word document without using a DDE connection. i've already tried working iwth it many times, and i've came to the conclusion that i probably will have to have the form do some kind of afterupdate macro or event. if anyone could help me out please reply
thanks.

HI

Have you looked up Format() in help, something like:

Format(YourCalc, "00000.00") might help Regards
