Hey guys, my first post here. I just had a 3300ICP installed at my location. I'm a Siemens guy, not much exp on Mitels, esp a VOIP system. My question has to do with the "phantom voicemail messages"....I saw the other post telling me to ****Go into every assigned class of service and set the feature "Disable Send Message" to YES. Do this in all classes of service EXCEPT the class of service assigned to your voice mail system. This should stop the problem.

Ok...I know WHERE to do this, my problem is this...the vendor that setup the sytem was pretty half=assed and I can't get a return call...when they setup the COS they forgot to label 2 of the groups so I don't know how to tell what belongs to what....I guess I'm trying to figure out which is the COS for the VM system....is there something specific in the COS that would tell me it specifically setup for the VM...understand what I'm getting at? Any help would be greatly appreciated....if this lady asks me about this stupid light one more time...I'm gonna bust!!!! Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

There are a couple ways to tell which COS is for the VM. It will have the COV/DNIC voicemail port enabled. But a much better way is to is just look up what COS is assign the the VM ports. This can be done by looking in the Station service assignment form and seeing what is assigned to the ports that make up your VM ports. If you don't know what those are you can look them up in the hunt group assignment form.

Good luck!
