Little icons on url bar?

Hi. I don't quite know if this question is to be asked in this particular forum but, what the hell!!.

Has anybody noticed this little icons in the url bar on IE that some sites ad?; like yahoo.

Is it posible to do this with Javascript? or do you need some other tool?.

It's not javascript, it's just a special feature of IE. All you do is upload an icon. The second link above takes you right to a very clear description on how to do it.

Note that this doesn't always seem to work. You MUST add the web site to your favorites in order for the icon to show up, and sometimes it will disappear for no apparent reason (except possible it's cached file was removed for some reason). Meddle not in the affairs of dragons,
