Hello all, new member here. I run 5.0.4 on a WIN2K box, and recently found that my server IP is listed on dsbl.org's blacklist. In order to be removed from the list they send an email to 'postmaster@[ip]'. I can't figure out how to enable this in Domino. I have tested sending mail to 'postmaster@[66.21.52.68]' with no luck. Can anyone help? Some of our largest accounts cannot recieve mail from our company until I figure this out.

Thanks!!

Well, the postmaster account should work automatically.

If it does not, you just add it to your own person document.
Put is as an extra name in the shortname field. Do not add it to the e-mail field because that does not work.

Add both postmaster@[IP address] and postmaster@[yourdomain]

Now you will receive all e-mails sent to this address.

Normally they will try to relay over your server. That means they will try to connect to your machine and send e-mails to other domains using many tricks. If that works you will be blacklisted again.

Because you listed your IP address I did a quick check and I could not relay using the most obvious way so that is fine. I did not check if I could relay pretending to be one of your users however. Make sure you have that one covered also and you should be fine.

Kind regards,
