The problem described in my former thread remains...
All solutions provided do not completely achieve a Windows folder explorer like behaviour. Really got any idea to implement such a reaction in listviews???

Hi Xartas,

Maybe you can just edit this component to fit your needs?
Code:

It comes from the Delphi Super Page and is totally free ...

Ta Bobba!

that package looks great but I hardly can find a way it might be helpful to my problem since it doesnt seem to offer a solution regarding it.

Looking forward to hear from you or anyone who finds himself in a position to lend me a helpful tip.

Hi xartas,

Maybe I mixed up then, could please discribe the
full nature of problem to me, I cannot seem to
find it in the threadlist.

sure Bobba,

I'm trying to mantain selection on entering a listview by mouse right-clicking just as it works in Windows folder explorer. I dont seem to be able to figure out a solution, not even a long-winded one.

Can you imagine one???

Sincerely thank you very much for your attention!

You tried to put something in the OnMouseDown event of the ListView?

Well I still thikn my preious answer is good, why dont
you adjust the component I showed you? It does what you
want, selection wise.
