Listing Reports

Hi, has anyone got any ideas on providing a list of reports that contain object prompts where one of the objects in the prompt are metrics with the € (euro) sign.

Put another way I need to list the reports that contain a € metric prompt

I've tried using the search by listing metrics that have the € sign and then using that search as a contained condition on a new search of prompts, but that doesn't work as I had hoped it would.

Run a search for metrics that have € in the name (assuming that's your condition).

Then shift-click the results (select all) and RMC to choose Search for dependents, changing the Object Types to Prompts.

You should now have a list of all prompts where there is a metric with € in the name.

Then shift-click those results (select all) and RMC to choose Search for dependents on those results, changing the object types to Reports.

You should now have a list of reports that contain prompts that contain metrics with € in the name.

You can not search for object based on what their definition is (except in the later releases [8? 7.5?] where you can search and replace reports based on the style they use).
