I am currently working on a performance information sheet that outlines past training for our employees. This one page document is to be given to the supervisor for when he/she does the performance reviews. What I would like to see occur is that the training courses are listed one after the other. What is currently happening is the following:

Employee: Jane Doe
Training:
Course: Date Completed
Excel January 15, 2002 Yes

and then crystal starts a new page and repeats the top the same information except the next course taken,
Employee: Jane Doe
Training:
Course:
MS Word April 14, 2002 Yes

I would like the courses to continue one after the other without a new page beginning and without the employee name and training heading following. Example,

Employee: Jane Doe
Training:
Course:
Excel January 15, 2002 Yes
MS Word April 14, 2002 No

I have tried changing the new page after and new page before but with no luck. The outcome of these two experiments was that the record would repeat on the same page.
Employee: Jane Doe
Training:
Course:
Excel

Employee: Jane Doe
Training:
Course:
MS Word

I have all the above information in the details section of the report.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

You must have a new page after/before set somewhere, probably at the Course group level.

Anyway, you should have the following groups:

Name
Course

If you don't have a Course Group Level, create one, and in either case place your fields in the Course Group footer.

There are other ways, but this should do.

Now you can have a new page after on the Name footer group.

Check the format of all of your sections and make sure that the "New page after" or "new page before" checkboxes are not checked on ony of them. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
