I AM CREATING A QUOTE DATABASE FOR PRINT. STUCK ON THIS:
I WANT A POP UP LIST OF MY VARIOUS PAPERS. HOWEVER I WANT TO SELECT ONE IN THE LIST AND THEN THIS ADDS THE NAME BUT ALSO THE PRICE TO ANOTHER FIELD FOR MY CALCULATOR. THE PRICING IS IN EXCEL AT THE MO SO WOULD BE GREAT TO RUN OFF THIS WITHOUT HAVING TO TYPE ALL OF THE NUMBERS IN. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE GREAT.

MY CALCULATOR ADDS THE PAPER AND PRINT COST TOGETHER WHICH GIVES ME THE COST OF A JOB (HAVE GOT THIS SORTED)

Hi,

You could add another table to your database which would contain a list of papers and prices (you can import this data from Excel so that you don't have to re-type everything). Here's a link on importing from Excel (a PDF):
You could then set up your layout so that, when it sees a particular paper placed in a [Paper] field, it would pull the appropriate price from the table you just created, with the papers and prices...

HTH,

Dr Tree
