Listening to TCP sockects

Greetings,
I need to write a REXX script (that will run under MainView/AO) that will permenantly listen to a TCP socket. Another application will pass requests for AO across the socket when-ever a problem repoert needs to be raised.

My problem is, I have no experience of TCP sockets!!

Any advice or even better, pointers or ideally sample scripts would be most welcome.

the REXX home... they have some socket stuff..
btw, it would help if you gave more info about computer et c.

It is not that hard once you have read this manual!!
