LISTENING IN ON SYMPOSIUM

TRYING TO ACCESS THRU NORTEL PHONE, LISTENING TO CALL AGENTS PHONE CALLS! I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR, WHEN PRESSING OBSERVE AND THE EXTENSION IT SAYS RELEASE AND TRY AGAIN!

ANY HELP?

u need to dial the postion id , not the extension number.
and for observing ur agents shd be a acd.

Check following

ld 11
Req prt
Type dnb
dn XXXX(extension no. u want to observe)

It will give u the tn of the phone

ld 11
req prt
type tnb
tn 4 0 5 7(u have to rplace this with ur actula t , showb in previous step)

now check is it the member of acd. Acd will be on key 0.
and it will show position id next to acd no.

now press observe and dial the position id.

Or, if you are looking in Symposium. Check the Real Time Displays in Symposium, and go to Standard Agent by Supervisor display and it will show you who is logged in, and the Position ID of the phone where they are logged in at. Then you can just hit your observe key and enter in the position ID and tada....monitoring?
