This has been annoying me for a while. We have several VB apps that have the account/passwords for an OLE database connection hardcoded in the source code, but I see these messages in my informix online log very frequently. I know that these messages are the result of OLE connections, and the users are not complaining so its retrying (or something!) but I should not being seeing these I think. Connection is OLEDB over TCPIP and like I said, things do connect eventually and must be happening fast enough that the users dont gripe.

Anyone else seen/heard of similar? I have search IBMs site for informix bug info, but since IBM took over the bug info is not as easy to find.

Please help!
