Listener doesn't start on Windows ME

I've just installed Personal Oracle 8i in Windows ME, but when i try to start the listener i receive an error window from windows saying that there was an error in <unknown> (typical on Window$). So do some one know how to solve this problem?

Personal Oracle 8i is not certified by oracle to run on WinME - don't expect it to work.

I am trying to install Oracle 8i Personal Edition on Windows ME and the Installer always terminate, and return to first logo...How do you got install ???????

Check if any antivirus is active, if yes deactivate the antivirus and try installation.
