I need to have a port start being listend too as soon as the system goes through startup. I have a script created to run the command for what I need. How can I add this to the startup? Thanks

You need an initscript and probably a port defined by name in /etc/services

If you have RedHat, peek into the files in /etc/rc.d/init.d/

Debian is /etc/init.d/

Windows is /windows/sys32/dlls/runtime/ole/activex/ohshit/its/broken/
