*We are cutting over a T1 with a Hundred DID #'s

*1700 to 1799

*renumbered console to 1700 works like a CHARM
follows night service and primary covers
as well as all other 1700 extensions in Range

The customer is also porting over Main BTN
with digits 3601 being sent by carrier
(they say they can only send 3601 (4 digits)

old "copper /pots" was (xxx)xxx-3601
LDN default is 800 will not allow me to renember
to 3601 (nothing else built in switch with 3XXX
range ...no conflicts)

I get waved off when trying to renumber

system renumber > single >LDN

*possible to renumer an unused extenion forward
to 1700(#33 1700 #) and send to coverage if not answered
after x amount of rings

*IN AUDIX VOICEMAIL:
change AUT ROUTING TABLE

when seeing digits 3601
during daytime send to DAY AUTO ATTD (M-F 8a-5pm)
and afterhours send to NIGHT AUTO ATTD (M-F 5pm-8am)
and all day Sat & Sun

If your t1 is PRI then you could use your dialplanrtg and delete 4 digits 3601 and add digits 7100. Give 7100 covage with voicemail and it should work.

You should always be able to re-number the ldn. do a print out of your dial plan and see where the conflict is. it is probably a extension in an empty slot that has that number.

Gonna love this one, when you renumber the LDN it says to enter the old number, THEN press ENTER, then enter the number, the trick is to press enter first, it will then ask for the new number.

Thanks I would Never have thought of that one.....
I happened to luck out though ...because its not a PRI but they (AT&T) deleted 3601 and inserted 1700 first DID on
block of 100 #'s ...since 1700 was main number they could do this ....

*if you make a call from any number POTS it points to
the Copper #3601 (they ported just DID #'s and left
copper ones with Verizon BUT IF YOU ARE ANOTHER CALLER
ON AT&T SERVICES (T1)THEY SEE #3601 THEY STRIP AND INSERT
1700 pointing to console with 8 SA Buttons...

*Thanks for the posts I will remember the "enter" trick
next time ( I have never used or renumber the LDN I just
thought of as a LAST resort )
