Does anyone have any experience in using the ONMoveItem method to trap what a user has moved with the moverbars? I am trying to prevent users from moving certain items in the list to a location in the list that it does not belong. There are some items in the list that have to be at the beginning and others that can't be in the beginning. I would like to trap the movement and then either allow the change or warn the user.

Thanks

Try this, though I have not tried it.

in the listbox's Move method, Place code there that would sort the contents of the lists with your priorities.

If you are using an array to populate the listbox, then use an non display column to store a code/index that would simplify your sorting of that array.
