listbox with incremental search capability

How can I create a listbox with incremental search capability? The listbox DTC uses only the first character and then the user has to cursor down to find the exact selection, but I want to allow the users to type the first several characters to easily find a listbox selection.

Listbox behaviour is defined by the browser and not Interdev or DTCs.

You may be able to tweek a listbox using stylesheets, but I would guess that only IE would support this sort of facility.

Perhaps you should use a combo-box instead.

Another idea is to have a listbox and a textbox, and use JavaScript to syncronise them.
