I have what I know is probably one of the simplest questions in the world for all you guys here at Tek-Tips but I can not find the answer in access help for some reason so I thought I would go to the pros.

I have a parameter query where the user types in the associate's name for the data they want. I want to have a listbox that will be the parameter. They highlight the associates name, click a preview report button and then it displays the report for the associate. How do I link the parameter with the listbox?

Thanks for all the help!
Brent

How are ya smithbr . . . . .

In the query, set criteria for the [blue]associate's name field[/blue] to reference the listbox. Something like:

[blue]Forms!YourFormName!ListBoxName[/blue]

Not sure if this will suffice....
Have you tried the ListBox wizard?

- Find a record based on the value I select...
- Select your field
Note that if you do not select the primary key, the wizard will select this for you -- "Hide key column"
- Provide a meaningful lable
