I need a ListView control in Microsoft Access to search for an Excel file, and select a file to perform actions on such as importing it into the database.

Any of you guys know if this can be done, and if so how to do it.

This is my first post on the site and any help is greatly appreciated.

This is the general database forum, where one discusses more general database topics.

Your question seems more related to developing in Access, so one of the seven Access fora is probably more relevant, I'd say either the forms forum forum702, or the Access VBA forum forum705. I don't now much about Listviews, but you could probably do a search in those fora, or post the question there.

Btw, I think the faq section of the forms forum contains a couple of faqs on Listview.

Here's also a faq to help you get started on the site faq222-2244
